Physical Therapy

About Me:

I grew up here in Aspen, and I’m excited to be able to serve this valley as it has helped shape me and has provided so much to be thankful for over the years.

Education:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) - University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

Professional Experience:

As a physical therapist with a passion for sports rehabilitation and performance enhancement, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my practice. Prior to moving back to the Roaring Fork Valley I was part of the dynamic team at Next Level Sports Performance in Golden, CO. This sports-oriented clinic is specialized in treating a diverse range of patients, including those seeking direct access care as well as individuals recovering from various surgeries. My role there allowed me to work closely with athletes (high school to professional) and enthusiasts alike, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey and helping them achieve their performance goals. I was also fortunate to complete a rotation at Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Denver, providing me the opportunity to work closely with some of the most renowned surgeons in the state and US.

Interests:

I enjoy treating patients recovering from common sport-related surgeries such as ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair, shoulder surgeries, and various hip procedures. These require specialized rehabilitation protocols, and I take pride in providing personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs. Additionally, I am drawn to treating patients with ailments or injuries resulting from overuse or aging, including rotator cuff tears, joint replacements, and more.

Certifications:

I am currently certified in Functional Dry Needling (Level 2) through Evidence in Motion, allowing me to more effectively address musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Additionally, I hold certification in Blood Flow Restriction training through Owen’s Recovery Science, enabling me to incorporate innovative techniques into my rehabilitation programs.

Commitment to Excellence:

I am deeply committed to helping my patients overcome challenges, optimize their physical function, and return to their favorite activities with confidence. Whether it’s through hands-on therapy, progressive modalities, or empowering education, I strive to deliver the highest standard of care to every individual under my guidance.
